I am having a contest!!! I am proud to present the first ever Rhonda's Recycled Craft Challenge!!

Here is how it works. First, you must register. (Open to everyone worldwide!) The deadline for registration is June 1, 2009.

To register, simply purchase this listing. You pay only the $0.20 listing fee; shipping is free.

On June 2, I will mail out a packet to each person who is registered. All packets will have identical contents, which will consist of an assortment of items saved from the landfill, as well as the rules for the challenge.

Photos of completed entries should be posted to the Rhonda's Recycled Craft Challenge Flickr group no later than July 15, 2009. (URL will be included in your entry packet.)

The winning entry will be announced no later than July 31. And what will that lucky crafter receive? A $20 gift certificate to my Etsy shop!!

This is me today. I'm home sick with a combo of tonsilitis, bronchitis, and sinusitus. I know... what the hell? For some reason, my allergies always take a turn for the worse. I felt alittle sick Thursday and Friday but by Saturday I had lost my voice and was an absolute wreck. I've been house bound ever since. I ventured out Monday to take my daugher to school and yesterday to visit the doctor and those two adventures wiped me out. I'm on so much medication, I'm surprised the police hasn't raided my house for possession. Today I was tired of looking at my wan face in the mirror so I did my hair and put on some makeup.

I feel like crap but don't I look pretty.

Actually no real surprise here...I indulge in quite a few artistic pursuits and I'm an information junkie and math wiz. (Absolutely hate math but it comes easy to me.) My daughter seems to be following the same path. Math whiz who loves to draw.
